Feeling cheated and as I don’t want any of the other customers to get cheated like this I’m writing this review about Muthoot Precious Metals. We paid whatever was agreed at the time of agreement for two 20grams of gold coin.
One coin was collected without paying any extra amount after maturity but for the second coin they asked to pay an extra amount of Rs.1818/- telling that the custom duties has been increased by 4% by the Government.When the gov had increased the charges on 17th March 2012, why was it that not collected for the first coin but with in a weeks time they have started implementing the extra customs duty?
- They did not even inform of the increase of charges at the time when the first coin was collected
a week before the second coin
- When the rule was passed by the Gov on 17th March 2012, why are they implementing it after 10 months?
3.As, when there were more number of maturities they started collecting the extra charge which is one way of cheating their customers.
- They don’t have have online payment option. Have the pay the amount only in that five days of duration ever month else they will charge 12% fine.
5.If you go to pay the amount you will be made to wait for atleast 1-2 hours
- Many of the numbers given on their site don’t work properly(either busy or not working). If lifted also they will provide you with a not working or always busy number
7.When you visit the office you will not get a proper response
SO, PLZ PLZ REQUEST ALL OF YOU WHO WANTS TO GO FOR ANY SCHEMES WITH MUTHOOT PRECIOUS METALS CORPORATION(MPMC) TO THINK TEN THOUSAND TIMES BEFORE GOING AHEAD, BECAUSE FINALLY YOU END UP PAYING MORE THAN WHAT IT COSTS IN THE MAR WITH A LOT OF PHYSICAL AND MENTAL STRESS.
