The movies core subject is AIDS, which has been dealt with really well.But what really was worth noticing is that, other than AIDS, the topic of homosexuality was also dealt with. Also, how even in educated families the girls achievements are not as important as the male child’s.Its about a father living his dreams through his son. Basically how the father has so many expectations from the son, how all their lives revolve around their sons, but in the time of crisis even loving parents can buckle under pressure from the society or how we put it ’’samaj’’.
Its’ a story of a sister’s undying love for her brother.She makes saving him, and, helping him the purpose of her life.Its’ a story about true love where Nikhil’s love(purab) sticks by his side and helps him through his last stages.Its’ a story about how people in our country are so ignorant about basic facts on this disease.Its’ about how basic human rights are violated and have to be fought for.Brilliant acting by everyone except Dipanita Sharma who any ways did not have such a big role.
