My Car Wakad, Pune is one place I should not have purchased my first LUV from. I am a fan of Maruti Products and purchased three Wagon Rs back to back since 2003. So, now thought of upgrading to Ertiga.
Loved this vehicle.
Initially for the test drive and clinching the deal, the sales-person was pleasant.
But once I paid the money and was about to get the loan for the car, the scene was totally different.
Not enough coordination between the bank and the dealer, multiple rounds of "chakkar" to get the documents.Once the car was delivered, I went to the showroom at least 5 times to get what was promised as complimentary accessory.
Then comes the real harrowing experience of registering the vehicle.
The Maharashtra Govt has put in a rule to get the Rental Registered Agreement to get the car registration done. Since my owner stays in Aurangabad, and he underwent a bypass surgery, I could not get him to Pune to do the agreement. The whole process of how to do it with suitable alternatives took 4 months! I had to drive the car without registration number for 4 months, like a convict out of jail. I had to pay and do many other things which the dealer himself was not aware off and was giving me ideas that just did not make sense. I lost close to 9000 Rupees in this whole process and got the registration finally based on my own inquiry at the RTO.
I would never ever purchase anything from MY CAR WAKAD.
