I happened to visit one of the clinics in western mumbai and this is my honest review after being treated badly at the clinic.
I was having some pain in one of my tooth and I saw their ad in the newspaper( they come almost everyday) so I decided to visit the nearest branch. Upon arrival I was greeted and was given a long form to fill. After that I was taken inside and my check up was done by a very young doctor(she took my x-rays 5 times to confirm) upon inquiring further I came to know the doctor had just 6 months of prior experience.
After the x-ray I was told that I require a filling. I agreed and doctor started doing my treatment. She didn’t give me sedative(i told her to give as earlier when I did my treatment I was given by my doctor) but she refused. It gave my immense pain but she kept on doing. After the filling was done I experienced heavy pain so I was given pain killers. after 2 days while the pain was still there the filling broke in pieces . I went there again just to find out the doctor wasn’t there( her shift ended, that’s the response I got). I went to my family dentist who told me that I will require the root canal and the previous doctor drilled very’deep. So I did my root canal and now finally im pain free. Few points I would like to mention,
- They will keep you bombarding with phone calls( even when u tell them not to call you)
2.Doctors are very young(recently out of college, as the doctor told me) and are often confused about the treatment.
- They will push u a lot to get your treatment done and will also try to sell u some shitty card which allows discount
4.It’s a chain of many clinics you can see them pop up all over the city. when I inquired further I came to know its not owned by a dentist rather by some businessman. so I don’t know if some problem occurs whom should we blame.
I’ll personally stick to my old trusty family dentist than some very young inexperienced doctor .
