Bakwaas, Faltu and Plain Bad movie

If KANK was not the worst movie by Karan Johar then here comes MNIK that brakes the record being plain bad in direction, screenplay and script with so many loopholes and flaws topped with Shahrukh’s usual over the top artificial fake and overacting.

MNIK tries to be profound and deep in handling a special child and terrorism issue but turned out as bad as KURBAAN with shallow characters with no or shallow background, under developed situation, unconvincing twists and turns, undigested incidents and forceful tear jerkin moments like KANK that makes you irritated rather then crying. I think Karan Johar is loosing with every film of him, Kuch kuch hota hai was the only decent flick by him, after that he started declining heavily with every movie. K3G was not as good as KKHH, KANK was fair to not so fair and now MNIK is plain bad...its a journey in reverse.

The only good thing about this film is Kajol with her natural acting skills, she looks graceful and very convincing throughout the entire film and acted really well. Shahrukh was as usual superficial and over and his act of being Autistic was a sample of bad acting.

The music was not as great and catchy, but a few qawwali and sufi numbers were soulful, but the pathetic faulty script, shallow and boring screenplay and bad direction wasted these tracks too. The cinematography was excellent as expected as huge amount of money was spent in the technical department.

Watch this film in theaters only if you are a greatest fan of Srk or Kajol , otherwise chances are that that you will come out of the theaters cursing and abusing everyone involved in the making of this disappointing movie.
