Being a die-hard SRK fan, I have watched all his movies-mostly good, but some which were not so good. I was all set to watch the movie on Saturday in a local multiplex in Mumbai and the show got cancelled due to some riot by shivsainiks.
I was told I will be getting a refund in 7 days-but who wants the refund? I wanted to watch the movie-so I scouted Book My Show website and got another show which was an hour later than the earlier one and in another multiplex. The weekend plan to watch the movie became an adventure-which was not called for, thanks to the zealots!
The effort was worth every bit - for the effort put in by the Khan! His act of being autistic was his best so far and the pairing with Kajol was the icing on the cake. There were so many memorable moments! KJo is the best- his understanding of human drama and the way he presents it is awesome! The phirangs who acted the parts of Obama and Bush did it well. The other phirangs in the movie added the right flavor to a movie set in San Francisco. Sometimes, though it felt like KJo has made the movie not for Indians living in India, but Indians living overseas.The bit about the flood in Georgia was a big letdown, typical bollywood stuff-total nonsense.
Zarina Wahab as his ammi was a good fit for the role and it was good to see her on the big screen after ages.
This flick is a must watch for all SRK fans and others can watch it at least once!
