I visit and recommend...

I guess Im qualified for this too, as I spend quite a bit of my time here on the net(when my toddler son demands his mum for dinner, is being put to sleep, during insomniac spells, etc.). Well, here goes.

  1. http://www.google.com

Everybody knows this one. I do all my searches on this, and nothing else. In case you havent used the’Images’ and’Groups’ category, try them out.

  1. http://www.photo.net

THE site for photography enthusiasts. This has fantastic photographs uploaded my members(free membership), which are reviewed and critiqued(by members), equipment review, classifieds(this might not apply to most of us in India), technique recommendations, and anything else you wanted to know about the subject.

  1. http://www.bhphotovideo.com

THE shop in the US selling photography, video and pro audio stuff. It is a HUGE shop(got the chance to see it during my trip to NY) with almost everything, including a large category of used equipment. Their prices are probably the lowest. They ship overseas too. Check this site out - lots of drool maal!

  1. http://www.timesofindia.indiatimes.com

My online newspaper. For the toons, I wait and see it on the hardcopy edition in the morning. For everything else, its this one.

  1. http://www.ndtv.com

My other news channel. Real quick updates, which covers a very wide spectrum.

  1. news.bbc.co.uk

You need to have this; especially during disaster times, wars, etc. And we seem to have one every now and then.

  1. http://www.agfanet.com/en/

Nice photography portal by Agfa. This has courses, tutorials, surfers gallery, and contests! You can upload your pics for free for the contests.

  1. https://a.kodak.com/CA/en/consumer/takingPics.jhtml

A very good photography teacher indeed! Has a lot of basic stuff very well explained with relevant pictures to make anybody appreciate the nuances. Includes stuff like composition, lighting, equipment, tips, troubleshooting and ofcourse - digital!

  1. ebay.com

good for time-pass browsing. You know what can be sold for how much(at least somewhere!). You may find that particular book you wanted here!

  1. yahoo.com

MyYahoo.com to be precise. I have arranged the first page to my liking - get to see if I have new mail, top headlines, science and sports news, and even the daily horoscope(horrorscope!), just in case I want to see these.

And some more sites. few more of these are photography related, and few kidstuff(to download juicy stuff for my son).

Thanks for reading:-)
