My 5 most fav food items

My 5 most fav food items

As the subject line says, wanted to share my All-time 5 most favourite food items....

(Listing the items point-wise doesnt mean that the item on point 1 is more favourite than that on point 5..)

FOOD :-->

1. Home-cooked food -- nothing can beat this.. ghar ka khana...ohh!! Some of the items dearer in this section are as follows -->

i) Kadi- chaaval / Rajma - chaaval

ii) Chicken gravy with chappati/ rice ..

iii) Gulab Jamun

iv) Litti -- Most of you dont know abt this wonder !! Its a bihari food item.. Its a round shaped item made of our usual aata stuffed with spicy groundnut powder -- known as ’’sattu’’ .. usually eaten with spicy mashed potatoes / baigan..(known as aaloo ka / baigan ka chokha..) and the litti is usally massaged with pure ghee ..

2. Pizza -- who doesnt love pizzas.. especially from Pizza Hut... the only prob with Mr Pizza is the amount of calories he contains.. one regular size pizza contains around 1500 calories... :-(

3. Mishti Dahi / Gaajar ka halwa -- if anyone doesnt know abt Mishti Dahi (doi), u better go to the nearest K. C. Das and ask for it. It is basically nothing but sweetened curd/yogurt made in earthen pots.. in K. C. Das u get one serving for 8 bucks.. too good.. simply superb..!!!!!!!!! As for Gaajar ka halwa, I think it will feature in everyone’s top 5 list.. simply fantabulous !!!

4. Tandoori chicken -- again a very popular dish.. and a fav of almost all non-vegitarians..

5. Pani Puri -- this guy doesnt need any intro.. nor does it need praise.. the name itself is enough.. but anyways, to illustrate my love for PP, all I can say is that I have it almost everyday.. for record sake, have had 4 plates (40 in number) at one go once.. :-) after finishing the ’’routine activities’’ of the next morning, which lasted much longer than it takes on usual ’’ordinary’’ mornings, I took a deep pledge that I wud never have more than 10 PPs at one go.. :-D

Although the list is endless, confining it to 5 items seems more reasonable..
