Food - every humanbeing has to eat to live, each person has their own choice to eat which gives them pleasure and satisfaction.
I have many favorite food items but among them I like to share ten items which are my most favorite:
Idly, this is a dish made of rice and urad dal, it is steam boiled, besides easy to make, good for health and easy to digest. Having it with Coconut chutney, sambar and dosa podi is delicious. It is a right choice for a breakfast.
Curd rice - As we all know it is easy to cook and a best food for summer, it is good to have with mango pickle for lunch.
Sweet Pongal - It is a sweet food cook with rice, jaggery, milk, ghee and nuts this is a good mixture we can serve as a snack during rainy days in hot. It is also a traditional festival(to cook this) for Tamilians in January.
Biriyani - Biriyani, I have at many places but my all time favorite is home made mutton biriyani prepare by my mother. It is yummy makes me to have one more time with curd and onion raitha.
Tandoori chicken - I dont know to prepare this at home but whenever I go for restaurant this is my one of the menu.
Poori - Serves with masal or chicken gravy is a choice for me to have as dinner, though it is oily I like to have it during night times.
Payasam - We make payasam with semiya and moong dal, my much loved dishes also adaprathaman which we prepare it during functions especially for weddings.
Carrot Halwa - My mouth starts watering when I see this even, my mothers best recipe whenever she comes to my home I ask her to cook this it is a combination of carrot, milk, condensed milk and sugar. My son also likes it to have.
Fish & prawns - Best food with low fat but rich in vitamins, I like to have not only fish gravy but also fish fry.
Mango milk shake - Mango gives rich taste to all food prepare by it whether it is Icecream, softies and payasam. There are many milk shakes but mango taste makes me enjoyable.
Eat healthy and live healthy. Avoid junk food as it causes more diseases, home made food is advisable.
