Hassled Initially - But problem resovled!

I’d like to bring to the notice  the experience which I had while trying to redeem the voucher.


I went to Defence Colony Cafe Coffee Day and showed them the SMS which I received from Mydala, Initially they were not even sure if it was even applicable on their outlet , but on informing them that it was valid all over india on any CCD outlets they asked us to show the printout of the Voucher, but again I had to inform them that on Mydala website its mentioned that showing an SMS is sufficient. They then accepted that we bought the voucher.  Afterwards when I asked them about the beverages on which this voucher was valid, to my surprise they said they dint have any knowledge about it. I asked them to enter my voucher number on their Computers and check the beverages on offer for this voucher they informed me they cannot check it online either. When I called customer care I was told that the problem will be resolved within 5 minutes and would receive a call back from them, after about 10 minutes I get a call from an executive Mr.Mohit( customer care) telling us that the problem cannot be resolved right now and it would be resolved only by Monday.


If this is the way a customer is hassled at an outlet where Mydala has a Tie Up with and is told by customer care executives that such a small issue will take 2 days to get resolved then Id like a complete refund for this Voucher I’ve bought immediately and in the future I’’ll make sure that I dont buy any voucher from Mydala and advice my friends and family against buying anything on Mydala as well.


Request you to kindly refund the entire amount immediately.

But since the incident I received several calls in the following days from Mydala Customer care executives, sincerely apologizing for the experience we had and assured us that such a thing wont happen again. The head of the Customer Care department went to the extent of giving us his personal mobile number to get in touch with him in case we faced any issue in the future while redeeming any mydala voucher. As a result of these sincere apologies and assurances I would like to continue using mydala services in the future as well.
