I have paid rs.140 from my savings bank account on 06-12-2011 which I have received a confirmation sms. The sms sent from td-mydala also reads as below: "dear-your voucher no. rs280000001331316 for cinemax is worth rs.280 is valid till 2011-12-20" I went with my wife yesterday to cinemax, eternity mall-thane, Mumbai to redeem the voucher & enjoy the movie.
On presentation of the voucher printout at the counter, the exec told that they did not have any such information. After a discussion, he spoke to higher up & told that though the ticket rates are rs.100, 160, 240 & all are available.
But only 1 ticket of rs.240 can be given against the above voucher. For another ticket I need to make a payment of rs.240.00. I was surprised & requested them to allow me to meet the higher up exec. I was told to meet mr.Prasad(manager) from cinemax, eternity mall-thane, Mumbai.
On hearing the issues of mydala voucher, he also told me the same what the lower exec told me. Additionally he told that he has been facing various issues with regards to mydala vouchers as there is no clarity. Now the conclusion is- even after having a 50% discount voucher by paying in advance, I will have to pay rs.140(already paid)+240= rs.380.
Whereas in other case I could have seen the movie for rs.200(100x2) or 320(160x2) or maximum 480(240x2). In any case where is the discount of 50%. Finally we had to come back helplessly after spending on fuel expenses & toll tax to reach cinemax, Thane.I have paid rs.140(mydala)+100=rs.240/- for two tickets of rs.100 each. Moreover the tickets were issued after a long discussion of 35-40 mins as the cinemax exec were not aware as to how to proceed with the voucher.
The conclusion is- for two tickets of rs.100 each I have paid rs.240 that too after having 50% discount coupon from mydala with me.
