I had ordered 1 kg dark chocolate cake on 8th May for a same day delivery. This cake was for my mother on the occasion of mothers day! Unfortunately, in spite of me calling more than 20 times on both the customer care helpline numbers mentioned on their website, to check the delivery status of the cake, no one picked up the phone and the phone kept on going on the answering machine.
Since I did not receive the cake for the occasion I had ordered for, I wrote to the company asking them to cancel my order and asked for a complete amount refund. I was forced to take this action due to the fact that MyFlowerTree failed to deliver the cake in time for the occasion of mothers day! I had also paid extra charges for express delivery. Mr.Deepak from their online helpline team assured me on 8th May that they will deliver the cake on that day but was not willing to confirm the time. He told me that the standard delivery time is till 8 pm.
Even after writing a cancellation mail to them on the customer care mail id, there is no response till now. Interestingly I got a call from Mr.Sandesh and Rahul from flower and cakes mira road mumbai on 9th May at 830 pm(24 hours after the scheduled delivery) that they want to deliver my parcel to my house. I politely asked them not to trouble themselfs to deliver my parcel as it was already too late and the occasion had already passed by. the real thing happened after that.this person(Rahul) told me over the phone that if I do not take the delivery now, I will not get the refund of my payment. This is when I completely lost it.First this company plays with the emotions of the people, dont fulfill the services for which the customer has paid, charge additional money for these services, dont respond to calls, mails etc and on the top of it, THREATEN the customers.
I have never come across such a company, if they dont change everything about them, no one can save them.
