I guess, it is because of a very complicated front page they have designed that it takes hell lot of time to download on your PC. I have been confronted with this problem often.
But, the site is very good from content point of view, with the latest market news, corporate news and results analysis. The site also holds wealth of database on companies.
There is one unique thing of this site, which I haven’t found on any other- the comparative analysis of companies in the industry you select. It allows you to select at the most three companies and database upto five years and then presents the comparative analysis. However the processing time is again the nemesis….
Apart from this it provides your portfolio analysis, the daily movement of your portfolio, the 52 weeks high and low and all that… which is common to almost all finance/business websites.
Ya, and there is one more good thing about it, and that is chat masala, wherein they feature movers and shakers of the industry, with whom you can chat live!! And ask your queries. This sometimes provides with useful information, which is difficult to find elsewhere.
But again, the site is hopeless on research part. There is very little or no research whatsoever. What they do is provide you with loads of database to work with… most of the queries during research of various companies show a blank page stating sorry no report available!! There are numerous errors too, like once PAT was less than PBT though tax was paid in that year: they interchanged the two figures.
Still overall, the site is okay with some of its unique features. If they could do away with its downloading problem, then it will be very handy to use…
