I arrived in Delhi on 20th Jan 2017 and had booked Scorpio from Myles Self Drive customer service over the phone. From 20th Jan 3pm till 4th Feb 3pm car hire I paid$45, 000 INR considering the car I will get would be in good condition and well maintained(at least this is what the lady promised me over the phone while making a booking). They asked me to pay the entire amount in advance which was bit doubtful but as I was in India I thought this is the norm here. Anyways I arrived in Delhi on 20th Jan around 4pm as my flight was delayed by an hour however I didn’t receive car until 6pm - first bummer of car hire from Myles. After waiting for almost an hour when I received the car it was in shocking condition- it looked very old, scratched everywhere from outside and inside, very muddy, dusty, seat covers ripped, music player wasn’t working and above all the alignment and shocker of this Scorpio was damaged. The moment I received this car I called customer service to replace it however after arguing for an hour with a guy named Rajesh Kumar claiming to be a supervisor of booking department no positive outcome. I felt like I have been robbed big time and my entire trip to India was ruined because of Myles. Not only this but it left me with a bad impression about the entire country as I decided not to come to India ever again. They never refunded my deposit money, what a dodgy company. Myles Car need to shut down their business because they are incapable to provide good/safe product and efficient service to their customer. If I would be living in India I would sue this company and take them down but honestly its not worth my time but I hope one day someone would teach them a lesson. If you want a self drive car in India please DO NOT EVER HIRE FROM MYLES!
MY PERSONAL RECOMMENDATION TO ALL FOREIGNERS - DO NOT GO FOR SELF DRIVE CAR HIRE IN INDIA AS THEY ALL ARE THIEVES AND DODGY. PLEASE GO FOR OLA TAXI OR OTHER TAXI HIRE SERVICES BUT NEVER EVER WITH SELF DRIVE CAR.
