I Had taken up car rental from Myles, the supposedly No-1 car rental company in India, with lot of anticipation of good experience and wonderful memories for long weekend sept 29-oct 2, 2017. But alas Myles need to fix lot of things, as they have come out as cheaters who are more like fly by operators. . Following is our gist of experiences
1 . Ford econosport Car handed over had faulty brakes which were giving heavy sound every time you brake. Myles did not provide any alternative car.
We were promised hassle free Onboarding experience with timely delivery and full tank of fuel. Instead we got a vehicle with empty tank and that too after half an hour of scheduled time. And then another 30-45 mins wasted on looking for a petrol pump.
We were given a Ford econosport vehicle which was in not so good condition having done close to 90000 km, when we were told we would be given a vehicle with around 8000-10000 km
The check engine oil light on dashboard was on when vehicle was delivered to us. And to Complicate matters the brakes are making a heavy sound when pedals are pressed. The person who managed the vehicle told us that there is nothing wrong with the brake and the Engine oil and that we can drive the vehicle to Lonavala.
When reported the issue to Myles customer Care team before taking delivery of vehicle, they said they will get back soon. But after an hour we received a call giving us recommendation to drive the vehicle back to service centre. We had already driven more than 10 km by that time. Emphasis seemed to be to give customer lecture on liability rather then offering a workable and practical solution.
The viper blades cleaning was not working making driving in hilly and foggy terrain extremely dangerous.
Myles did everything possible to endanger the lives of the family who specifically asked for a vehicle to travel to western ghats. Cheats, fraudsters!
