Myntra really needs to fire their sizing department people!
I recently purchased 3 kurtis from myntra.com as they were offering great discounts.
The bad:
I followed the size chart provided in the site. To my shock, the kurtas were too tight and poor fitting. I had ordered XL( though I usually buy L size) to be on the safer side but still this was impossible! A friend who is very slim ordered the L size at the same time and had the same experience - the kurta was too tight at the waist in that size category also.
Either they have no idea of clothing sizes - in which case they should be selling groceries and not clothes - or they think that Barbie doll has the right proportions and everyone should be built like her. Or maybe they want to shame customers about their body size? No idea.
The delivery is also super slow.
I had also ordered a pant and 3 tees for my 10 yr old. I had chosen the 13-14 yr old size options and these exactly fit my daughter(whos of normal build and size for a ten yr old). In fact the tees were a little tight. Size issues in all ranges?
The good:
They seem to have an easy return / exchange policy. I have opted for return. Hope it works and works fast!
I buy clothes often from flipkart and Amazon and have never had a single issue like this with these sites. They have proper sizing charts and are much faster in delivery.
A word of advice to purchasers: Open your delivered package carefully and preserve the cover and bill and tags etc as best as possible before trying it on. Considering the sizing problems you will most probably have to return / exchange the dress.
Im not returning to shop here!
