I have been a regular customer of Myntra for years, but a recent incident has shaken me and raised serious doubts about the safety of ordering from them, especially considering the advanced payments we make.


On July 2, 2024, I received a package containing footwear delivered to my doorstep. To my surprise, the package was already open and taped over when handed to me by the delivery person. When I questioned why it was opened, he replied, "Open it to check if the product is inside." I proceeded to open the package in front of him, only to find a single item inside. The delivery person claimed he couldn’t assist further and advised me to contact customer support for help.


I followed his advice and contacted customer support immediately. However, to my dismay, they insisted that because I had opened the box, the item could not be returned, and they refused to take any responsibility. They even disregarded the video evidence I had taken in front of the delivery person. During my interactions with customer support and their supervisors, I noticed they repeatedly misinterpreted my complaint and provided conflicting information about their investigation. They did not clarify whether the delivery person was employed by Myntra or a third-party, which added to my confusion.


This entire experience has left me questioning the safety of making advance payments to Myntra. It feels like a breach of trust, and I am concerned that such incidents might be endorsed or overlooked by Myntra itself. It appears that someone in the delivery chain may be tampering with packages, and I’m left unsure if Myntra is aware but unwilling to address the issue. Can I trust Myntra to ensure the safety of my orders?
