I ordered a pair of Mango jeans from Myntra. Tried it on, found a gross blue rubber band in one of the pockets, it didn’t fit, so I folded it as is and kept it back in the same packaging immediately. I did not clip the tags, did not wear it for more than 10 seconds, did not move about in it, did not damage it (I mean, how could I when I barely had it outside the damn covers for not even a full minute).
Mango Jeans do not come cheap, and I did nothing wrong, so imagine my surprise when I get an email saying my return is put on hold. The delivery agent didn’t seem to have an issue with it when he was collecting it. Apparently it did not pass quality control! I did zero, zilch to the product. I returned it in the exact same condition, and in the exact same covers in which I had received it. If anything, it shouldn’t have passed their quality control standards BEFORE it was sent to me with a gross worn-out blue rubber band stuffed in the pockets!
Anyway, I tried to get in touch with the customer care, and they still haven’t got back to me.
This isn’t the first time something like this has happened to me with them- back then I didn’t buy anything from them for over a year. I have spent so much money on their website. But if this is how they treat their customers, no more!
I’ve had far better experiences buying directly from the Mango and H&M websites and Ajio, so I think I’ll just stick to them from now on, unless Myntra gets in touch with me and rectifies this situation it has unnecessarily and unfairly created.
We are not that kind of people, I have been raised better than to lie and cheat, and I don’t need to resort to such disgusting behaviour as has been implied in the email, just to save a couple of bucks.
I would like them to, at the very least, get in touch with me and rectify this. Seeing as how I haven’t done anything to warrant this treatment, I want my money back. I am shocked and appalled at this behaviour!
