Stay Away From Myntra

One liner: They don’t provide any support or deliver order in time.


I am a fan of online shopping and have used many online sites over the years. However, worst of my experience was(and infact is) from Myntra.


I agree that they have got a great collection of products and attractive offers. Its the same thing that led me to shop from their site. Little did I know that its only the offers and that they don’t provide any support or deliver in time.


I am writing this review while I am waiting for an order to be delivered which is long past their promised delivery date. Myntra promises a delivery date of 7 days in their website. 7 days was okay for me as other online services promises the same.


However, its past 8 days from the date of purchase, I decided to check the status of the order. I contacted Myntra via their website and waited and waited. There was no response from them. Not even an automated email. I did this again thinking that they might have missed my contact request but still didn’t get any response.


Next I tried their facebook page where one of the Myntra official seemed to respond to queries. I could see a long list of posts where customers like me had posted their complaints. This calmed me down a little bit knowing that I am not the only one. The official responded to my facebook post and raised my complaint on ’getsatisfaction’ website.


First the Myntra official gave me a pre-written response as they have done for other customer. This was to assure me that they are looking into the issue and will give an update soon. After a day, I got impatient and decided to contact them again.


This time I got a response from them saying that the order has been shipped and the courier service will get this to you by the earliest. However, they were not able to tell me when I will get this. Its over 9 days since I got this response and each query I raise is answered by a pre-written response by their representative. Its like they don’t have any commitment to me and always gives responses from their knowledgebase article(pre-written responses).


In this instance, I have asked for a refund which they have neglected. The last pre-written response from them was 2 days ago saying they will give me an update ’soon’. 18 days from the date of purchase, I don’t know what to do to get the order or refund. Still eagerly waiting for someone to sort my issue out.


Long story short: Stay away from Myntra if you don’t want to end up like me.


Check their facebook page(posts by others) for grievances other users are having.
