I bought a pair of Hush Puppies shoes from Myntra.com, whose sole wore off in 3 months. When I contacted the Company for replacement they told me that the product had a warranty of 3 months and I had just missed the warranty. I aruged that the warranty details should have been clearly informed to me and they cannot throw random figures at me. Most local shoe shops offer 6 months warranty and Myntra should award the same. The Company agreed to consider the matter further and asked me to send pictures of the shoe. After analysing the shoe the Company told me the peeling was due to excessive use. The shoe was used only in office premises( or in the car during travel) and there is no question of excessive use. However the Company refuses to refund my money.
In another case, I had purchased a Prafful kurta from myntra. One part of the Kurta started leaving color stains on the entire dress, when washed. I approached the Company for replacement with pictures of the stains on the kurta. After follow-up of a week, Myntra told me that I can send the kurta back to them and it will be replaced. They also told me that it should have all the tags on and should be in a resalable condition. Dresses don’t get washed with tags on and also dress with color stains are not resalable.The Company is making a joke out of its customers by making such statements. They have wasted my time, effort and money.
It is quite evident that the Company is here to cheat. I suggest we stay away from it.
