Many of my friends told me not to go for Myntra to purchase shoes because of poor customer service.but I thought let me give it one try. My order no is 2639621 .I placed an order for fila shoes on 13th April and I recieved it on 16th April.After I tried the shoes I realized that the size was small for me although I had ordered the correct size.
I logged in to their website and thought to use the 30 days return policy..so I called them and they said they dont have that service in GURGAON( NCR) and they informed me they cannot reverse pickup and they informed me that I have to go and courier it myself. Imagine an e commerce website of the size of myntra who claims 30 days free return policy( reverse pickup) does not have service in NCR ( national captitol region).
as Suggested by myntra I took my time out and went to the courier office which was 10KM from my place and couriered using first flight which costed me 250 rs. Immediately I called Myntra and informed about the tracking details and thats when I got the shocker. Myntra rep told me that they cannot refund anything more than 100 rs. I tried to explain to the rep that no good courier will ship something as big as A shoe between NCR - Bangalore for 100 rs. Instead of asuuring me the rep gave me the link of terms and conditions page where they have mentioned that they do not compensate more than 100 rs.
I called back again and was hung up on twice by their representatives. I also spoke with a manager who again was saying as per their policy they do not refund more than 100 rs for shipping charges. whenever you speak with any myntra rep’s or manager you would only hear one thing and that is "TERMS and CONDITIONS"
My questions to Myntra is"
1) Why on the myntra front page have you mentioned 100 percent free return shipping when you only provide only reverse pickup in Delhi and bangalore. This information about reverse pickup only in bangalore and delhi is nowhere mentioned in myntra website. when questioned about the same customer care rep’s had the audacity to tell me to go through terms and conditions.
2) in today’s world where customer service is priority for every company myntra is just a disgrace to e commerce industry. I must have possibly spent more than 100 rupess just for phone calls and here is a company which is hell bent not to return me the return shipping charges quoting their terms and conditiones.
I have already forwaded this review to many online consumer forums websites and news mendia and also will make sure I share it will everyone in facebook and twitter.
if anyone is planning to purchase anything from Myntra. Just one Word. STAY AWAY. they area a buch of cheaters.
