I am an avid online shopper. Therefore I am extremely aware of almost all online sites return policies and I follow these diligently. I had the worst experience from Myntra recently.
I had ordered a tunic. actually two. Both from the same company and same size. However, on was small. dont know why
Immediately I repacked the small one, keeping all the tags intact. Being a bit of a perfectionist, I even made sure that the creases were intact, and even preserved the inner cardboard liner. And I sent it by courier the next day for return.
A few days later, I received a mail that my return claim was rejected. On enquiry they said that the product had been used! They said that there was a strong sweat smell and a button had been damaged! I have never been this humiliated in my entire life! Its actually an indirect way of accusing me of trying to cheat them, isnt it? !
Overall, their product quality is just ok.their display pics are extremely misleading, but since quality is not that bad, I think customers prefer to adjust rather that going through the hassle of a return.
But this is intolerable. Now Im left with a tunic that doesnt fit me and money loss for the return courier charges
And its checkmate for me. obviously I cant provide any proof that I havent used the product.like some video recording of what happened in my dressing room, right? !??
So my advice would be to avoid this site as far as possible, and dont be mislead by their pictures. And dont ever trust their hassle free return policy.its absolute horse crap!
The saleguys on their customer service call centre talk very sweetly.but in effect, you are just screwed in the end! That too, is just another misleading tactic of theirs.
Come to think of it, I even feel that they are just trying to dump their defective or near- ending stocks on unsuspecting customers by rejecting return claims
