Let me start by staying I don’t have the best experience with online shopping websites (My last feedback was on snapdeal.com and it’s available right here on this website.) right from their inception, to such an extent that one would wonder why I didn’t think of giving up shopping online altogether, but lets leave that to another review.
I ordered a pair of Adidas shoes from Myntra.com on Saturday - 15th September 2013 - a weekend, mind you.
They got delivered in under 24 hours, on a Sunday afternoon! - This is what I call service!
I tried the shoes, they fit perfectly, looked exactly like what I’d ordered and yes, they are the real deal. Original Adidas shoes that I could not find in any store around me.
With regards to payment options - I opted for the cash on delivery mode, and then I was suddenly presented with an option of paying with my credit card at my doorstep.
How’s that for a surprise?
Not only did I overcome my fears of paying in advance, I also got to pay with my choice of credit card, so I got the reward points too - no fuss, took a few minutes and I was done!

So, may be it was beginner’s luck that I got exactly what I wanted, in the exact amount of time that the website proclaimed and I decided to do it again, just for kicks.
I ordered another pair of Adidas footwear and this time I placed the order about 6:00 in the evening.
My product was delivered in two days. Which is still not bad considering that I even used one of those discount coupons and got a decent 25% off.
There was no hassle whatsoever and I needed to reiterate this because so many others did not have the same experience.
I suppose it’s all up to availability. If a product is there, it will come. If it’s not, then it might take a while.
I don’t however understand why people are unhappy with the packaging. Some say the box in which their products came were damaged.
Well, it’s footwear! and are you concerned with the box or with the product? Unless you want to tie the box to the top of your car to proclaim you wear branded footwear everywhere you go, I don’t think that making such a big deal is needed.
The products are original, made in India, but original nonetheless. The prices are great and I suggest you use the discount coupons so easily floating around. The product is delivered to your doorstep and you can pay with cash on delivery.
What else would anyone want? Would you like to buy you footwear from a store in your town? Well - go right ahead and do so, because my last visit to my favorite shoe store turned out to be the biggest shock of my life and yes, for the same product, I got a better price and a better deal.
I do understand that not all people go through what I just did, but I can say that the website is trustworthy. Sure, you might come across an occasion of delayed delivery or not receiving the right product, but I’m sure these mistakes are definitely pardonable.
I suggest that you should always go for the COD option. That way if you don’t get your product, you don’t have to worry about getting a refund.
