Bought a pair of formal shoe a week back from Myntra. Had to place a return request as it wasnt fitting me well. My return request was declined stating item has been used. Dont know what forensic investigation they carried out to arrive at a conclusion that it wasused(even though it wasnt), it raises some concerns-
Either they are selling used products,
Or, they dont want to accept the return
I would like to tell you guys, it seems Myntra is selling used products, because I didnt use the shoes so if it was used, it was used before it was sold and delivered to me.
I should have realized at the moment it was delivered to me last week, as the box in which shoes were packed was in a terribly bad condition(please refer to the pics). Cello tapes were used all round the box to keep it in the shape, but the box was in such a bad condition that tapes could hold the edges of it.
Now coming to the reason given to decline return. The person who gave it back to me told that - we cannot take it back as "it appears to be used by you". even though I told him that I am returning this shoe as it doesnt fit me. so if it doesnt fit me - why would I use it?
Guys, be careful when you shop next time. Do not accept any packet specially if it is in a bad shape- you dont know if you are getting a fresh piece of a used one, and you will come to know about this only if you need to return it.
