I have passed Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in 2010. I have wasted my valuable three years and money in this course .
You have to pass 10=2 with Physics, chemistry and mathematics with an aggregate of 50 percent to take admission in this course.
This is three year course but this course is not equivalent to graduation. This course is conducted by Director General Of Civil Aviation(DGCA). You have to spend 2.5 years in the institute and have to clear 5 semester and after that you have to go through an ON JOB TRAINING. Only then you will complete that course and they will give you your certificate.
This is not at all, The semester exam is not that much valuable if you have not cleared the Licence paper exam which is conducted by DGCA.
After your completion of the course you have to do training in various aviation company, airlines, flying clubs to gain experience without any salary for a unlimited time till you get the job. This training is not free you have to paid a huge amount top this company for this training.
After that if you are lucky enough you will get job but as a technician and their salary is not that much good.
So I will suggest you please gather all the news before taking admission.
