Only for Akshay Kumar

"Naam Shabana" is based on a normal girl who carries guilt and a dark past in her shoulder is on a journey to be a spy in Indian intelligence agency. Her work is to eliminate a international arm dealer.

But appearence are quite deceptive sometimes as its not a feminist type of a movie because Tapasee Pannu in the lead is dragged to safety most of the times by Akshay Kumar.

The performance are quite good from the previous cast as it is a prequel on the successful movie "Baby". Manoj Bajpai, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar and the villain itself pulled off a teriffic performance. Tapasee was quite good with the action sequences but couldn’t keep up the same level when she was asked to emote.

As this is a spy genre film, the background scores were above average but the most important for these genres is the plot of the movie which was quite weak overall. Dialogue were not that great as in happens in a Neeraj Pandey movie, though the direction was quite well.

The cast was brilliant as usual but they couldn’t find a way to raise the film to a respectable level.

all in all its a good one time watch if you’re really not busy this weekend.

3/5 overall.:)
