This is one of the don’t miss movie for a Kannada fan. This is one clean movie with great humor and funny dialogues. Great acting by Prakash Raj. It has some very emotional moments that a parent can relate to. It is a movie that kind of leaves you thinking rather than mindless violence and drama that are so common these days in movie. There is never a dull moment. As the parents age, the father is still left holding on to the past while his daughter grows up and leaves home to start her life with her newly found love in Delhi.
The shooting and acting are all excellent. The movie starts off with Prakash Raj starring as Raj Uthappa narrating about his daughter Amulya starring as Kanasu to his newly found friend Ramesh Aravind. The story line follows the life of Kanasu right from the birth all the way to her marriage. There are very poignant moments that any parent can relate to like the kid going to the first day of school. It is the story of the daughter who teaches the meaning of life to the father !
