Worst experience of Naaptol

My complaint ID is 750602. I purchased one Spy Pen Camera of 16GB from Naaptol. I did not received a user manual for the same. Generally if any electronic item is purchased, we get a user manual with it. Also, I could not find the manufacturer’s name or 6 months warranty card with this product. So, I called the Customer Support Number: 9223516148. I was guided by a representative about operations of the camera. However, I wanted a user manual for my future reference. The representative took my request and then I received a poor zerox copy via courier in return after a month. My work for which I bought the camera was done by then. I could not use that pen for my work. Still, I again called the customer support asking for an original copy and not a zerox for user manual. But the representative told me that this is all they can send. I realised the service quality of Naaptol and decided not to buy anything from them again.


After a month or so, I received a promotional offer call from Naaptol. I clearly told the female representative that I do not have any interest in doing business with Naaptol since they did not give me proper service. She suddenly hung up when I was explaining this to her. I received many sales calls after this and every time the representative hung up on me when I tried explaining them the reason on their request. Sometimes, they also used to laugh and make some jokes with their fellow callers which I could clearly hear. So, I called the Customer Support Number: 9223516148 and requested them to remove my number from their database. I was assured that I won’t get calls from Naaptol anymore.


However, I am still getting sales calls from Naaptol since one and a half month. Now I am receiving emails for promotional offers of Matrimonial sites from Naaptol. I have spoken with Manoj, Harjit from sales. Prabhakar from escalation department on 9223490900, Reshma and Sudeshna from Customer care and some other sales representatives. They all used to put me on long hold like 10-15 minutes, come back and I had to repeat the whole information again and again and then assured me that my request is taken and I won’t get calls from Naaptol. But still the very next day, I get a sales call. This is exhausting. I am suffering this harassment for past one and a half month. Yesterday, I was told by Reshma, that I will get a revert before 5pm for my complaints. But nobody called me. So I called the Customer Support Number: 9223516148 and spoke with Dinesh for around 25 minutes. Then only when I insisted, I received a complaint ID 750602 and a commitment from him of a call back within half an hour from his supervisor Mr. Pramod. But again, nobody called back.


This is a big disappointment from Naaptol. They are never going to get business like this and I am not going to recommend Naaptol as a reputed site to anybody. I was also told by couple of their representatives to put my number in do not call list, but I have other decent online shopping companies to deal with. Just because Naaptol does not give proper service, I will not put my number in Do Not Call list and loose my business. Further, I would like to mention that all other online companies never ever called me with their promotional offers. Naaptol is the only company keeps harassing me every single day*. Naaptol is getting some rating from me because it is mandatory here to submit this review. Otherwise, they don’t deserve evern minus 1 from me.


I request Naaptol’s authorities to look into the matter a.s.a.p. and remove my number from their database. I do not want false apologies from Naaptol and surprising reaction that this is the first time they have come across with this kind of issue(which I have already heard many times from Naaptol’s representatives and their Team Leaders.) I am very much "thankful" for the services they have provided me in the past. So far I have not even mentioned the condition of the product and its performance. All I want is No more calls and No more emails from Naaptol. Please accept this request.


I still have few questions running in my mind - If Naaptol can send me a zerox copy, then they definitely have the original also. Why are they so reluctant to send the original user manual for such an expensive item? Why are they insisting on sending soft coy(PDF) of user manual? Why their employees are not well mannered? Why each of their representative pretend to be the first one to hear this issue. Why their customer support doesn’t give a complaint ID unless it is asked by a customer? Why do their sales callers hung up if they are the one who wants to know the reason from the Customer for not doing business with them? Why their escalation department did not give me a reference ID when I directly called them. Why do their representatives "advice" a customer to put their number in DND if the customer does not want to take calls of Naaptol. Why can’t they just improve their services? And last but not the least - Why do their all representatives give false commitments?

Very surprising and funny too, that they have just sent me a word doc file of manual via email. I never asked for the soft copy. I purchased the pen camera in June 2011. Does it make any sense? They never’listen’ to the customer.
