I have a bitter experience with Naaptol.com. Want to share it with readers so that people are careful when planning for a purchase from this website. I had seen Naaptol.com on the web and wanted to purchase a beanbag from it. Since the details were not clear I called their customer service number, one of the executive said the beanbag package comes with the cover and the beans inside. I verified this twice and only after getting a positive confirmation I went ahead and ordered for the beanbag+beans on 31st October 12. I received the courier on 2nd Nov without the beans. I called customer service about this and was told I would receive the beans within 2 days.
Since then I have called them 10 times and written around 25 mails. The issue is still pending. The entry level team is quite professional, they understand their goof-up and always promise to send the beans with 2 days. The problem is with the level up who are very rude and dont bother about customers. The "JOKE" of the whole issue is there is a email id of the "CEO" of the company, who promises to write back to you if you let him/her know about your concern. You receive a response from some "Divya Susai| Asst.Mgr – Web Customer Care" who does not read the content nor is bothered to understand the issue.
Please dont be in a hurry to buy products from this website , you will be taken for a ride and there is no one there to resolve any issues that arise after the purchase.
One of my friends suggested I approach consumer forum and raise a case about this. Looks like that would be the best option to get this resolved.
