NAET or Nambudripad Allergy Elimination Technique is a unique treatment technique devised by Dr. Devi Nambudripad, drawing ideas from kinesiology, acupuncture, nutritional management and chiropractic methods. There are a number NAET clinics in various parts of the world, where trained practitioners provide the treatment.
I suffer from allergic cold which is quite painful, especially as I end up losing a number of days of work. I heard about this treatment from a cousin whose child was allergic to milk. I went to Katherina Kasper NAET Allergy Clinic in Bangalore.
The treatment method is simple. The patient is made to hold various materials(common allergants) in a bottle and the practitioner tests the muscle strength. The patient gets a back massage with an equipment, all the while holding the bottle of allergant. A session takes about 20 minutes, and in general about 30 sessions are required. After every session, the patient is advised to undertake strict restrictions on certain food items. The practitioner charged INR 200 per session.
Now the bottomline: the treatment was not effective for me. I continue to have my allergy problems even after the treatment. The practitioner was not able to find any specific material I am allergic to. Apart from the money I spent, I also wasted good amount of time on this treatment.

My experience is specific to that from a practitioner. It could be a typical dilution of quality in the franchisee model.
I did adhere to all diet restrictions, but I did not do the prescribed exercises diligently.
I listened to a few’excellent result’ stories from my co-patients at the time of waiting for the treatment.
Last word: Try something else if you suffer from allergies. But in case you try NAET make sure you do enough due diligence on the practitioner.
