Being in Eastern Maharashtra and away from golden triangle of Mumbai, Pune and Nashik, i think Nagpur is somewhat politically overlooked.But still this hasent lost its old charm.If there had been no Mumbai like place in Maharashtra or had it been the part of other state, definitely it would have state capital.
As Nagpur is at the central point of India geogrofically, have the head quortor of RSS.famous for Raman Institute of science, Famous agriculture college, well known Dargah of Baba Tajuddin and more ever cooperative nature of people...these all things make Nagpur very unique.What the recent attraction about Nagpur is its roads.Credit must go to then Municipal Commissioner Mr.Chandrashekhar.Although climate is very hot during summer, but in remaining period , Nagpur is very much pleasent to live.
Sita buldi , Ambazari, Mahal, Mominpura, sakkar Dara, TajBaug, these all parts are really city, s heart place. Nagpur is really a cosmopolitan.You will see people from Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnatak, Chhattis Garh living peacefully and mingling with Maharashtrian.
