Nakki lake is situated in the hill station of mount abu in Aravali ranges of rajasthan. It is romantically called the love lake of mount abu. During my tour to abu I also visited this place and the boating was good experience. The lake looks awesome at night or late evening. It is an important tourist attraction of mount abu.
Nakki lake is wrapped by hills from all sides. Proposing an indulgence in this scenic beauty. We spent a lovely time here, with it’s soothing and refreshing ambiance.
The area around the lake is always buzzing with people’s as there are several food and juice stalls, balloon vendors, icecream parlour and snacks are available near the lake. It is good for boating, as I love boating. It is a big lake we can easily go to boating for3-4 hours. Nakki lake is a central hub in the city. A visit to lake will give you a greater insight in to mount abu. visitors can explore various other places of interest including restaurant, shops and other establishments. It is a good spot for photography.
At night time boating you will have a great surrounded due to the street lights, surrounding the lake was pleasing experience.
A very interesting story behind it’s creation as the guide told us, the legend has it that this lake was dugg by gods or Devtas using their nails or nakh that’s why the name nakki lake. It is a picture perfect location. The lake is surrounded with mountains, gardens and rock formations also make it a very good location for photography. In the evening the selting sun makes the canvas. Overall my whole experience was good to visit nakki lake. It is beautiful lake you must visit the lake and enjoy the boating here.
