Waste of time and money

Take a select scenes from a whole bunch of Hollywood ’Indiana Jones’ type of movies, throw in some has-been actors and some weirdly dressed actresses,   a couple of mandatory item numbers, a sorry excuse for a storyline, bad bad technicals, convert it all into Hindi and you get NAKSHA!!!

Friends, go and watch this movie at your own risk. I went to watch this movie expecting it to be some kind of a decent copy of an "Indiana Jones" kind of Hollywood movie but a few minutes into the movie realised that it had borrowed freely and shamelessly from 4-5 different movies. The guy who wrote the script must have spent about 35 minutes at his computer cutting and pasting from the scripts from all these Hollywood movies and then running it through the English - Bollywood translator.

The movie’s wardrobe supervisor or whoever decides the costumes came out from under a rock after 25 years in hibernation. The actors wear clothes completely out of sync with their characters and roles and environments. Jackie looks past his sell-by date and Sushma should stay away from item numbers with her paunch and fleshy cellulite-ridden thighs.

the story, or lack thereof, is about some hidden map that points to some invincible armour. Lame.

’Pathetic’ is a compliment for this movie. I total waste of my money and time. It was not even worth spending the 2 hours 15 mins.

I apologise for writing such a vitriolic review but I really felt very strongly about this sorry excuse of a movie and thought that I might contribute in a little way to maintaining my friend’s sanity.
