We visited Nalanda as a part of our Gaya trip. This place, ruins of ancient university stands as a proof for the creativity & the building capacity of earlier generations. One would have heard, learnt about Nalanda university during their education, but its vasteness actually strikes your mind once you stand in front of the ruins shown for us now, which is only a part of the complete Nalanda University.
It also has a museum where you can find the remains of idols & other daily used items of those days.
*Impt Note:* Please hire a guide to get the complete details of the Nalanda as just walking through the paths wont help gain any knowledge about this place.
No good food joints nearby, you need to relay on the small outlets available outside the Nalanda ruins.
