It is located in Bihar. It has been called one of the great university in history. It was Constructed by the emperor Ashoka . Almost 800 years later it was re-opened in 2014. Academic Session is running in New Campus of 450 Acre, It is not possible to run classes in old building. It will take tym and large sum of money to be world class University again. Old Nalanda was establishment of higher education that day. We can’t rebuild new Nalanda University on old base.
