I went to Namdhari Fresh near Domlur on 10th March 2015 around 8.30 pm and kept my brand new Volga Attitude Black helmet in the wooden rack containing boxes just outside the store’s door. Security guard was present right there, he saw me put my helmet in the box and even asked me what my bag contained. He let me go in with my bag as it contained laptop.
I shopped for around half an hour and when I came out I did not find my helmet anywhere in the rack. I argued with the store supervisor and the security guard for about half an hour but they refused to compensate me for my loss that happened because of their lapse.
Security guard even refused to admit to his lapse. In the end these guys handed me a piece of paper with some email and a phone number written for me to lodge my complaint. I tried to send them email but my email does not go through to their inbox. The day after, I called them on the number on the piece of paper but the guy on the other side of the line simply hands me another number.
After going through the same thing again, finally, I connected to their customer care guy who simply refuses to deduct the errant security’s salary and refund me. All he promises is that he would look into the CCTV footage to identify the thief and call me back and the next time he visits their store, they would apprehend him, but, I have not heard from them since.
I HAVE LOST FAITH IN THESE NAMDHARI PEOPLE WITH THEIR CALLOUS DISREGARD FOR CONSUMER SAFTY AND REFUSAL TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
