I enrolled for a health Check up called Heart Radar after seeing an advertisement. I also got a confirmation SMS from them.
On the appointed I day I reached at 8.30 am after 13 hour fasting. My name was not on the list of patients for the day. I had to show the SMS to them. reluctantly they agreed to take me. I was directed to the billing counter.
I paid and then just for taking my blood samples, I had to wait for over an hour. Back to the lounge and a perfunctory breakfast, I was asked to wait. for a full 3 hours. before my next blood test. Then a wait of two and a half hours more before I was taken for my 2D Echo. which was performed by a Lab Technician. She called for the Cardiologist. who was in a meeting.
So he didn’t come. Later I was asked to bring my old reports(I had carried them) and the same cardiologist strolled in a full 1 and a half hours later to see my current Echo results and past results. He did not meet me. I was told the Echo results would only be ready the next evening. A meeting with the cardiologist(included in the package) was to start at 3.00 pm. but I had to wait as he was busy. And the morning blood test results had not yet come in.
So a meeting with the Cardiologist was to happen without the Lipid Profile results or the 2D Echo results and he was supposed to give me an expert opinion. I decided enough was enough. this was pure nonsense. This hospital is just not equipped to handle Excecutive Health Checks and the attitude of the staff really sucks. A warning to all. go there at your own peril and if you have nothing to do for a full day. Even then chances are that you will have to make a second trip and the result will be anything but satisfactory!
