I am a resident of Bangalore for 31 years now. Born and brought up here. I have seen many good and bad restaurants here. But the one ive seen going from good to worst (Dog worst) is Nandhini restaurant. The term "What you see is what you dont get" is true to terms if its Nandhini. I had a lot of problem with the service and food quality here.
They present to be a very hospitality friendly hotel but in reality they are not. All the employees even the home delivery person has loads of attitude and acts as he owns the hotel if we complain on the food quality. Zero in customer service and First in bad quality food and hospitality. If they feel their hotel is the best, they are 500% wrong.
I think everyone in Bangalore needs to know that the price they pay for the food in nandini is not even worth less than half of what is shown in the menu. I had ordered for Prawn Golden fried and it looked like the road side pakodas sold by the street side vendors. It was fried till it was burnt. They fried using besan flour and they boast that they use cornflour. May be they need to see how cornflour looks like.
When I complain and tell them to replace with a good product, They deliver the same kind of food and tell I need to pay for the replacement. Why send a replacement if I have to pay for it? I think the restaurant needs to shut down as its not worth what it is. Just looting people of their money. Everyone should know how worst kind of a hotel it is. I ordered food after 8 months thinking its good but its even worst than how it was before. They need to be dealt seriously for the food they serve. Dont ever get home delivery coz they mix left over food and deliver.
I had ordered from Domlur branch. They throw their attitude around showing they are doing a favor and not business with customers. Mr Owner of Nandhini, Tell your employees that serving customers is not a favor. You are not distributing free food. We pay for it and we better get what we pay for.You don’t deserve to do business if that’s the case. I have herd from many people complain about the same. The nandhini at kathriguppe branch is the worst in Bangalore. its better to buy road side kebabs than buying there, paying exuberant price as the quality is the same.
My personal suggestion, Don’t go to any nandhini restaurant. Its the worst restaurant chain in Bangalore. If you want to eat junk and waste money, May be you can consider Nandhini. Else, Please don’t. Personal suggestion. There were news that there was a Lizard in the biriyani. Maybe its true as the quality they serve there, It may be 100% true.
