Had been to the Woodlands restaurant, located on Nashik-Pune Highway near Kathe Galli Signal. It’s located across the road opposite to Kamat’s Hotel.
This was my first visit to this hotel. The occasion was first birthday of my housing society member’s daughter. My experience was mixed here. I was really amazed by the entrance and huge space available inside. The lawn is also quite big and lush green. I shall give full marks to the ambiance and internal layout. Our presence was limited to the lawn area only.
My remarks and opinion naturally is restricted to this part of the hotel.
The food quality was okay, and not very tasty I would say.
What I disliked here the most was that the staff(behind the buffet counters) was not at all courteous. They were rather ill-mannered. The guests(we) had to serve ourselves. The hand movements and body language revealed that they were also not properly trained to serve. Their language too was very localized and not up to par considering this grade of hotel.
All in all, I would not recommend anybody to visit here
