Hey this is my first review....
Went to Dubai last week and visited Nando’s on Shaikh Zayeed Road ( I hope I have the street name right!)
Great food .. the manager there told me that the food was influenced by portuguese cuisine.. I found it to be closer to indian.... the burger was great...! Unlike Mcdonalds.. it was not fried and greasy.. the chicken was also tasty ... I liked the way you could choose the spice level.. If you are an indian though I think you should go for the extra spicy stuff...
The biggest surprise was the Paneer preparation...! Good that some one thought of paying attention to the vegies... The paneer was also spiced up with Peri Peri sauce... I found it to be a bit too lemony though...
Great news was that the Manager there told me that they were opening Nando’s in Mumbai.!
Anybody knows where.....?
Anyways I think it has great potential in India.. due to the resaturant ambeince and the food.
