The great thing about Nandos is that its very quick but you dont feel rushed in the sense that you have to leave as soon as the meal has finished. It is a very relaxed atmosphere, with people of all ages. The first Nandos was launched in 1987 in South Africa. Then 5 years later Nandos came to the UK. Now it is spreading worldwide! Nandos is really for chicken lovers but also caters for vegetarians. I have actually tried the bean pita which is really tasty! You can choose side orders and extras for your meal. Apart from the burgers and pitas there is a selection of salads and desserts on the menu. The great thing about Nandos is that you have the option to eat healthy too.
Okay so you think you can handle spicy food? For those of you who arent afraid of eating fire, the PERi PERi sauce can be painfully hot! I love hot food but I couldnt dare have the extra hot sauce! The heat ranges from; Lemon & Herb or Mango & Lime - This is none spicy
medium - enough to make your lips slightly tingle(safe bet!)
Hot- it is what it says it is!
Extra Hot - in my opinion this is too hot, to the point where your mouth goes numb so whats the point because you cant taste anything! PERi PERi sauce was founded back in the 15th century and still to this day is a secret recipe.
If you dont fancy eating in one of the restaurants then Nandos provide a take away service. This is great for a Saturday night in front of d tv. I have to say though that all of the nandos restaurants Ive been to have been well decorated, especially the one in London, Bankside. This is located under the railway arches by the Thames. Cost - I think the cost of a meal in Nandos is a fair price. I wouldnt say its cheap or expensive. For example a meal with a side and a drink would be just under £10. I highly recommend Nandos as I love chicken and a speedy service. I do not recommend this restaurant if you dont like chicken and are looking for a high class meal.
