My Mom is suffering from cancer. As I heard that this hospital has the best facilities and more economical treatment we have admitted My Mom in Narayana Health city, Bommsandra . But the days passing on my mom health is getting worse and hospital bill is increasing. For admitting the patient in general ward for 4 days the they were charging around Rs 60, 000 with out including any scan or tests. Until now have spent around 6 lakhs for 5 months. I am not sure how much this will end up. Now, I don’t have any other option other than shifting to the other hospital. I can tell you that any Scan done in NH Health city is cheaper by 50% outside. They recommend too many scans( even though scan are useful, but they are more costly. I have only spent around 1.2 Lakhs in scans only) A PET scan in NH is RS 25, 200 where outside is just RS 16, 100. To add more pain to that the nurses in ward are horrible. They never cared about the patient except 2 and remaining all never helped my mother there. When ever my mom reached for help they used to give a weird look and ignore her.
Finally I feel only Deep pocket guys can visit for treatment. Treatment may differ from each individual and doctors. But based on my experience there I see a very few doctors with good experiences rest are very fresh doctors and less experienced doctors.
