TERRIFIC EXPERIENCE!!!

National Motors Inc. is a Third Generation Car Dealer who sells accident free vehicles in Bangalore.

I heard about them through a newspaper advertisement when I was looking for a Hyundai Santro.

I first dealt with them in January 2004 when I exchanged my Ford Escort for a Hyundai Santro.

Unlike most Used Card Dealers in Bangalore who have their cars parked like a tin of sardines ? National Motors Inc. was a welcome change ? they have a huge showroom which actually looks like a new cars showroom displaying the complete range of Used Cars from the compact to the luxury models of almost every brand.

On expressing my desire to purchase a Hyundai Santro ? they showed me all the Hyundai Santros available with them and permitted me to test drive each one of them without influencing my decision on the choice of the car. Besides, their sales personnel do not hound you and are hardly pushy to conclude a sale, infact they just answer any queries or clarifications that a customer may have.

After test driving all the Hyundai Santros ? I firmed up on two cars to choose from but was a bit confused as both the cars performed equally well. I then asked the sales personnel to allow me to meet the promoter of National Motors Inc. I was immediately introduced to Mr. Shabbir and I asked his opinion as to which of these two cars does he recommend. I liked his approach i.e. he gave me the pros and cons of both the cars and then told me that the final decision is mine. However, he suggested that I may wish to speak with Advaith Hyundai where both the cars are being maintained and I could check the track records of both the cars with them. Advaith Hyundai gave a very favourable report on both the cars.

Finally, I bought the car which was one year newer.

I asked Mr. Shabbir to clarify as to what did National Motors Inc. mean by Accident Free Cars ? he clarified stating that even after a customer buys a car from them but later gets to know that the car had met with a major accident prior to his ownership ? National Motors Inc. would take back the car and refund the entire purchase price paid by the customer.

Since, I was looking for a car finance I asked Mr. Shabbir to suggest a financial institution ? he said that since National Motors Inc. are the DSA?S for Citifinancial ? he can offer their services to me. I checked the EMIS and compared the same to some other banks and on being satisfied with the offer of Citifinancial ? I asked Mr. Shabbir to go ahead with Citifinancial. He asked me to sign the necessary documents for the Car Loan and offered to give me immediate delivery of the vehicle. He said that the EMI Cheques, verification and other documentations can be completed in the next couple of days. The car was transferred in my name and the Certificate of Registration and the Comprehensive Insurance was handed over to me within three days.

Unlike most Used Car Dealers in Bangalore who keep their Cars fuel tanks almost empty probably not even enough to get you to a petrol station ? I was surprised by National Motors Inc. as they had fuel filled in the car for Rs. 500/- prior to giving me delivery of the car.

In June 2004, I decided to change from a Hyundai Santro as the gears were annoying as they used to knock my knees being a tall person. I decided to go in for a Wagon R. I immediately thought of National Motors Inc. and went across and met Mr. Shabbir for the exchange of my Hyundai Santro to a Wagon R. Since, National Motors Inc. did not have a Wagon R to offer me ? they immediately bought my Hyundai Santro with no questions asked and all that I lost was

Rs. 20000/- in selling my car. Further, National Motors Inc. promptly foreclosed my car loan and infact got me a rebate of 2% on the foreclosure penalty charges as they suggested me to go for a back to back car loan with Citifinancial itself as I would anyway be buying another car and may need a car loan.

Infact, Mr. Shabbir suggested to me that if I am considering buying a used car which is less than one year old then I should consider buying a brand new car because the interest percentage for a new car loan is half or more than half of the interest percentage for a used car loan.

Even though I bought my Wagon R from Maruti Udyog?s True Value ? the services of National Motors Inc. in getting my car loan as well as completing all the formalities was impeccable to such an extent that I did not even have to leave my Office in order to obtain the car loan.
