Disappointing School with Misaligned Priorities

This school feels outdated in its approach, and considering the fees(₹2, 04, 000+), it does not live up to expectations. The teachers and management are largely unhelpful to both students and parents, which is disappointing for an institution of this stature. This applies not only to the regular school but also to the Montessori department, where the foundation of a child’s learning is crucial yet seemingly neglected.

The structure of the school resembles more of a business model, where parents are treated as customers, teachers as vendors, and management as facilitators of transactions. This is a stark contrast to the Guru-Shishya tradition we Indians(Bharatiyas) value so deeply. No matter how modern our education system becomes, we cannot override the essence of this traditional bond.

Teachers, across departments, often blame students for their inability to grasp lessons, labeling kids as incapable rather than taking responsibility to adapt their teaching methods. In the Montessori department especially, where nurturing and individual attention are key, such an attitude is unacceptable. This reflects a lack of accountability and adaptability among the teaching staff.

Additionally, the management seems more focused on expanding its franchise and maintaining a reputation for admitting only high-achieving students rather than fostering the growth of every child. Is the true purpose of NPS to uplift every student or merely to enhance its brand image by focusing on top performers and sidelining others?

Both the Montessori and regular school management need to rethink their priorities before raising fees or expanding further. A quality education system should nurture every child and genuinely support parents and teachers in their collective mission to educate and empower.
