National Travels

Bangalore

I am not sure about the service of National Travels in other routes but would like to review about my recent trip from Bangalore to Mumbai.

This is a 1000 km route with excellent road(NH4) and has many Volvo and non A/c buses plying daily and volvo takes some 16-19 hrs.

I am a regular traveler on this route and I prefer KSRTC than others but due to Diwali rush, I could not get ticket in KSRTC or Sharma travels and had to opt for National.

I took a 8pm National Travels bus from Anand Rao circle in Bangalore to Mumbai. I started at arnd 8:20pm.

The bus was comfortable and has good interiors. But was very dissapointed to see the halts. I halted for dinner at a very shabby hotel somewhere around Chitradurg. It had no proper toilets for women passangers and the staff seemed non co operative.Anyways, after dinner, it was a comfortable sleep.

Moring again we halted somehere around Satara at a pathetic hotel and worse 2-3 more buses came at the same time which made the available 3-4 toilets inaccisible to many. We had to stand in Q fior long. The food again was vnot good at all.

The staff seems to be illitrate and rude and hence you can not expect any co operation from him. He is no good then a ST travels conductor.

Best part was that the bus managed to reach to reach Vashi @ 12:15 pm.

So the good things were:

1. Good Timming.

   
   




2. Comfortable Semi Sleeper seats.

   
   




3. Good Interior

   
   

and the Bad part:

1. Pathetic halts in mid way

3. National Travels booking agents always try to LOOT you.(i have experienced same thing in Bangalore as well as Mumbai)
