Here I’m explaining my experience with Navrang Electronics Store, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi.
I(along with my wife) went to the store on 23/June/2011 at 9:15 pm. It was about to close. We went inside and directly ordered for IFB Elena washing machine as we had already planned for the same model. First they demanded 18000 then agreed to 17600 in single attempt of best deal. They said it will be delivered the next day morning around 10 am. We said we won’t be available after 9:30 am. They said OK what about 8 am? We said that’s fine but it should not be more than 9:15 am. They said it will definitely reach by 8 am. We also asked them what if the machine is faulty, the owner said "We are sitting here only, we can’t run shops if we don’t provide right things and right service." At the same time another couple was arguing for some previous transaction that had gone wrong with the store.
Next day we were waiting for the machine but it didn’t arrive till 9:45 am. We had to delay all the schedules that finally a person carrying machine on his back ranged the door bell. We just got it placed inside the home and went to our offices.
Later in the evening when we came from offices, I just opened the washing machine and it was found a used machine, as a wet Baniyan of Amul company was lying inside. Later also it was found from the carton that it was 6 months old machine. It door was also faulty.
I immediately informed the Navrang store, they said it will be replaced withing 5 days. Here I want to mention that I had purchased it for emergency sake but store did not agree to replace it before five days.
After around 100 calls to Navrang and IFB my machine was replaced on Tuesday, 28th June at 9:30 pm in night and that too from company. Navrang denied straight away that they don’t have any stock.
When my new machine was installed, I found that there were number of other things in the new packing that were not there in the previous one. That again ensured that it was a properly used machine, that navrang was trying to dump at my house in the cost of new machine.
This is my very bad experience with Navrang, I will recommend everybody to not to go to that store. They are totally cheaters. They must be giving number of people the used things.
But my experience with IFB was good. Their area sales manager Mr. Munish was really nice for providing my new replacement piece.
I would again say not to purchase anything from Navrang Store, Laxmi Nagar, New Delhi.
