Hello Friends, NEAL ’N’ NIKKY is the wrong title given to the movie it would have been ’’pain in the neck’’, is what was expected of me..isn’t it but thats not me reaction. I felt the movie-goers have gone far beyond the ’’rona-dhona’’ and ’’SAAS-BAHU’’ thing. They want different, and this demand of different lead to the making nad release of movies like SALAAM NAMASTE, KALYUG and recent NEAL ’N’ NIKKY. I feel we need to applaud for the new genre.

Story In the nutshell: -
A not so new story. Its about a man (NEAL) who will be married soon to a girl whom he hasn’t senn even therefore he just wants to go enjoy some 23 days of his bachelorhood before he is bound in the chains of marriage. And its during this time that he meets NIKKY, who uses him for some purpose of hers. And the story goes on...but what happens at the end is what you need to watch out for!!!

He has got good physique but looks is where he lags behind. Actindwise he tried his level best but lacked the liveliness that was demanded. Anyway when it comes to Son Of Chopra, audience automatically expects him to do something never done before and this is where due to comparison theses people are not able to please the public even after doing there level best.
The part of NEAL demanded not much of hard-work or what we call home work. And any actor of little calibre could have done it but when it comes to Uday we expect him to do miracles in this role, thats impossible and really bad. As a result in order to please he over-acted at places which he should have avoided, but poor guy....
She looks mal-nutritioned and shrivelled bean. Who asked her to loose so much of weight? Acting wise she tried her level best too but again comparison ruined everything. Everybody wants her to do miracles like Kajol or her Mother, thats once again is impossible. Though she has huge fan following but I don’t think if that would do any good to her.
in the song HALLA RE, she danced pretty well but she could have done better. Dance is not her cup of tea, is what I gathered looking at her during dance sequences.
The music: -
Music director, Salim Sulaiman, could have done better. Songs like HALLA RE are been played but that doesn’t mean it’s some KAJRA RE.
Akh Ladiye sung by Javed Ali, Kunal Ganjawalla, Shweta Pandit can be liked by the masses. But once again it leaves no impact at the ned. The bhangra beat is the only solace in the song. The lyrics are also not that good, lyricist Anvita Dutt Guptan can do much better.
Halla Re is a treat for sure. sung by Salim Merchant and Shweta Pandit and penned by Irshad Kamil is fasr number, running succesfully all over.
I am In Love sung by Clinton, Dominique Cerejo, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Sonu Nigam and penned by Anvita Dutt Guptan again is good but over-music kills the song.
I Just Wanna Spend My Life With You sung by Clinton, Dominique Cerejo and written by Asif Alibeg is kinda....ok
Now comes the title track NEAL N NIKKY sung by Kay Kay, Shweta Pandit and penned by Anvita Dutt Guptan is fine.
