When the ORIGINAL Need For Speed Most Wanted was released back in 2005, it revolutionized racing games. It was a steady mix of style, substance, metal, street and outright fun that it is, to this day, considered to be the one of the best games just in the entire franchise. It did get a sequel- NFS Carbon. It was good, so it probably a great idea to leave it at that. However, we DIDNT deserve this piece of utter garbage. NFSMW( 2013) was made by Criterion Games, and it shows- this reboot is more like a re-skin of Burnout Paradise. I love Burnout, but its nothing like The OG Most Wanted. Its fun, but only for sometime. Here, Criterion made a world that looked beautiful, but had no sense to it. You dont buy cars, you find them like a car-version of dumpster diver. You dont install specific parts for Performance and visuals- you just install mods. You cant customize your car. It has no sense of progression, the game is too easy, the cops have no other function than to be annoying. Theres no penalty, no challenge, no pressure. The only saving graces are that the graphics are beautiful, and the music is amazing. However, that doesnt jautify the games insult to the 2005 original. Just dont play this game.
