I recently watched the Movie Neerja.It is based on true story of Neerja Bhanot a purser on Pan Am who was shot and killed during a flight hijack in 1986. She gave her life while saving passengers on plane.She received multiple awards from Indian government and U.S government as well.She also becomes the youngest recipient for India’s highest bravery award Ashoka Chakra.
The film stars Sonam Kapoor as Neerja.It is undoubtedly the best role she ever got and she made justice to it.Initially she fumbles in the role but later she captured the momentum apt and accurate.The dialogues are heart wrenching and the screenplay will give you goose bumps.The film is directed by Dam Madhwani and sure gives you thrill and reality based cinema. Sonum kapoor’s acting was really great and film is worth to watch
