I am not much of fan of sonam Kapoor movies and after seeing many movies, but this movie was different as it was inspired from a true story and I really liked that this movie is based on Neerja who sacrificed her life to save the passenger on the airplane hijack of 1987 and took a bullet for the people which is really inspiring and is a very patriotic movie and after knowing the fact that she was an Indian who died for people of all countries.
The movie starts with the introduction about neerja, not much details are given about her but the fact that she was a very happy and loving nature women who was loved by all and the reason for her to choose the Air hostess profession.
The movie is a bit slow at the beginning but after that it really grips you when there is a hijack on plane and you experience all the horrible things that the passengers and neerja has to go through and all the terror in the movie and gave me shivers down the spine.
The cinematography and the depiction off all the things are done on a really good way and the actors performance is looking really good. I will not criticise as it its a true incident and there is not much you should criticise but Sonam Kapoor acting was a little weak and kind of felt like made up. I won’t say it was a really good performance by her but its definitely the best of ll the movie she had done.
But overall the movie is really good another background music, the story and the unfortunate events really grips you and you won’t get bored and I even got goosebumps at some scenes and almost cried at the end for neerja. A really good movie, worth watching.
